The Fall business meeting of the TCA will be held at the Southwest Open tournament site on Sunday, Sept 2 at 8:30am. If you plan to attend this meeting, please take the time to review the proposed amendments to the TCA Bylaws.

Warren Harper wins Denker Tournament!

Back in March, we told you about Warren Harper's victory at the Texas Scholastic Championship. Warren continued his winning ways last week, taking clear first place at the 2007 Denker Tournament of High School Champions, and winning a four-year scholarship to Texas Tech University.

This result should push Warren's rating above 2300. Not bad for a
16-year old who played his first rated game 3 years ago!
